Binana means as much as "Bina´s (carrying) naps". But you also read "bi nana", which means "two friends".
I used, with lots of love and enthousiasm, a long carrying nap for our baby girl Aylin. And soon I wanted to make one myselve. Because, whatever Bina does, Bina does better ... Or at least, ... I like to think so.

For me, the quality and durability of the fabric was of the at most importance. And on my quest for better materials I came accross a new innovation in the world of fabrics. Being, Bamboo fabric.
The bamboo fabric offers a variety of advantages, apart from being something diffrent than the usual ´tricot´. Intrincically the qualifications of the bamboo fabric were just out there waiting to be used for my Binana project. Here’s why:
The bamboo fabric offers a variety of advantages, apart from being something diffrent than the usual ´tricot´. Intrincically the qualifications of the bamboo fabric were just out there waiting to be used for my Binana project. Here’s why:
- Natural fabric
- Anti-bacterial
- Odor suppressive
- Breathing material
- Wrinckle free
- Soft to the touch

Producing the Binana is not just about selling a product. Being a mother myselve I wanted to offer mom´s and dad´s the same experience that the one I had with a carring nap. So, that why I started with Binana. To get others aquinted with this unique way to carry your baby.
Binana is also a fair trade product, human and environaly friendly (see tech sheet). The way the Binana is produced leaves almost no fabric that´s going to waste. Any leftovers are used for packaging or the production of heat pillows. The Binana is made in a confection workshop for the mentally disabled near Deinze (Belgium) which is also dedicaded to the production of ethical and durable products.
